...and I love all kinds of music. In 1981, after graduating from the Guitar Institute of Technology (G.I.T., now called the Musicians Institute) in Los Angeles, I returned to the northwest and began performing with local bands, playing a wide variety of music...country, hawaiian, jazz, funk, rock, pop, latin, and more.
I missed playing some of the classical music I had learned at G.I.T. So, in the 90’s I began practicing, and once I had enough repertoire, began playing as a soloist.
Though I love playing with bands, I find the intimacy of playing solo to be irresistible. Now, playing solo is mainly what I do.
